EKF English Nationals Success

A massice congratulations to our thirteen competitors who competed at the English National Championships as part of the JKS England squad on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th April.  It was held at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre in Sheffield and is the premier karate event in the country.  

The event comprises categories for child (12/13), cadet (14/15), Junior (16/17), U21 ,Senior  and Para-Karate.  

Medals are extremely hard to achieve here so a massive congratulations in particular to the following medallists:

Jacob Boorman - Male U16 Para Kata 

Silver

Isabella Wilkes - Female U21 Kumite -61kg 

Bronze

Isabella Wilkes - Female Senior Kumite -61kg 

Joseph Stanley - Male Senior Kumite -84kg 

Zach Ruizo - Male Junior Kata 

Jasmine Wozniak-Khakh - Female 12 to 13 yrs Kata 

Sophie Antcliffe - Female 12 to 13 Kumite -47kg 

Isabella Wilkes - Female Team Kumite 

These guys helped JKS England finish second of the medal table out of 58 teams entered!
